Looking for a halal restaurant in Birmingham that isn't the usual grill house? This is our dedicated halal menu — the same kitchen, with every pork and non-halal dish taken off. All our beef and chicken come from Halal-certified suppliers, so the pho on this page is a genuine halal pho: 25-hour beef broth, halal beef and chicken in the bowl.

It's served at both restaurants — in the city centre at the Bullring (St Martin's Square, two minutes from Grand Central) and at Resorts World by the NEC. No separate ordering, no advance notice: just tell the team you're eating halal and order from this menu.

One honest note: we're a family kitchen, not a certified halal-only kitchen — pork dishes exist on our main menu. If a dish's prep matters to you, ask — the team will walk you through exactly what's in it and how it's cooked.

Is Vietnamese Street Kitchen halal?

All our beef and chicken come from Halal-certified suppliers, and we run a dedicated halal menu at both restaurants with every pork and non-halal dish removed. We're not a certified halal-only kitchen — pork appears on the main menu — so if preparation details matter to you, tell the team and they'll talk you through it.

Is the pho halal?

The pho on our halal menu is made with halal-certified beef and chicken — including the 25-hour beef broth. There are also king prawn and vegan bowls if you'd rather skip meat altogether.

Where can I get halal Vietnamese food in Birmingham city centre?

Our Bullring restaurant on St Martin’s Square — opposite Selfridges, five minutes from New Street — serves the full halal menu every day. The Resorts World restaurant by the NEC serves the same menu if you’re at that end of town.
